About Dermaglow II
Microdermabrasion Machine

Microdermabrasion is the most affordable skin rejuvenation procedure available today and you’ll see results immediately!

While there are a lot of Microdermabrasion procedures being offered, at Skin Envy Studio we have chosen the best in class. Voted Best Microdermabrasion Machine In 2015 and 2016, the Dermaglow II was voted ‘best brand’ in a survey of over 103,000 doctors, nurses and estheticians in a Dermascope industry survey. Used by the Finest Medical, Spa and Salon Pros Worldwide. From The Ritz Carlton to Paul Mitchell the School, from New York City to Dubai the DII is the gold standard used by the best of the best in the beauty industry.

DERMAGLOW II delivers a controlled stream of microcrystals over the skin through a special hand piece.  By gently polishing the skin and removing dead skin cells, oils and other buildup, it is possible to improve many skin conditions and the imperfections that lead to premature aging.

The skin is left smoother as the vacuum action of Dermaglow II stimulates blood flow, cleans your pores and removes skin debris. This also encourages collagen formation which will firm and tone your skin.

Most people see dramatic results after one DERMAGLOW II Microdermabrasion treatment. However, for optimal results, we may recommend a series for your specific needs that will include a designated number of treatments and the specific time intervals between each treatment.

Microdermabrasion conducted in regular intervals will maintain the results that are produced during the initial visit. It is believed that over time, deep-seated blemishes will be removed as well.

The swelling and redness experienced by the patient during the first part of the treatment may last anywhere from a few hours to a couple of days. Certain skin conditions disqualify some patients for Microdermabrasion so it is vital to have an initial consultation before the procedure.

Who Should Not Receive Microdermabrasion Treatment?

Microdermabrasion is for healthy adults who have relatively minor skin conditions or imperfections.

Because the microdermabrasion is a mild, non-invasive procedure it cannot correct sagging skin or deep facial creases.

If any of the following conditions apply to you, Microdermabrasion is not an ideal treatment for you.

Please ask us to recommend an alternative treatment if you meet any of the following conditions:

Rosacea with sensitive skin, Cellulitis, Impetigo

Viral infections HSV1, warts, shingles

Fungal infections-Tinea, Candida

Laser Hair Removal-wait 3 weeks. Waxing-wait 1 week

Pregnant/nursing

Chemical Peels require full healing (at least 10 days), no open lesions, Dermatitis, sunburn

If you’re tired of the tired, dull appearance of your face and neck, say YES! to the rejuvenating power of Microdermabrasion!

What does a Microdermabrasion Treatment involve?

We will ask you to remove any make up before the treatment begins. We will then apply toner to your face and pat your skin dry. Next, we will use a small device to gently spray tiny, pressurized crystals onto your face. Finally, we will rinse your skin and apply moisturizer and sun screen protection.

Microdermabrasion is primarily used on the neck and face and is one of the most common non-invasive cosmetic procedures used today.

Is Microdermabrasion Safe, And Does It Hurt?

Microdermabrasion is a safe, non-invasive procedure with minimal risks.

Microdermabrasion performed by an experienced aesthetician can enhance the complexion without affecting the deeper layers of skin.

It is not painful, but the treatment can cause a slight warming sensation as the abrasive microdermabrasion crystals gently slough away old and damaged layers of skin.
